While watching such splendid performances I'm just thankful I'm on the same planet at the same time as those magical people so I can admire this Music in full glory. Thank you for everything, Marillion.

Yes I must confess... It's the pure love...and love is all anyone needs! Why don't they understand? Why all this hate and fatal fights for nothing? I love the love... that's all! And that's what Marillion stands for...nothing more...but hey...and NOTHING LESS!!! Only love will turn you around!!

This train is my life Speeding through the night We have been to these places For barely a moment Wide awake Sometimes sleeping Sometimes watching Sometimes dreaming Through stroby stations Too fast to know their names Too fast to know if we came or will come again Sleeping towns joined together By the steel of the rails Parallel lines Parallel lives You and I We're movie-rich We're reflected in the window The dark night's black mirror glass Distant lights from the wrong side of the tracks Christmas lights Go by in the houses Anonymous windows Anonymous rooms of Anonymous souls So take my hand Squeeze it tight Make some light In the darkness I'm glad you came on this trip Don't lose your grip Don't lose your grip This train is my life This train is my life Travel with me And we'll see.

Mannieri....for 30 years, trolling KZbin to downvote any Hogarth-era Marillion song, only because Fish is not singing it. It is nice to have a sense of purpose, something to do with your life, even if it requires your parents to continue paying for your smart phone on the family plan. Derek is an excellent songwriter and lyricist, but there is no way his singing voice, if you want to call it that, can be considered as outstanding, whereas Hogarth arguably has the best voice and delivery of any living male volalist. If your lament is more in the nature of the change in tone of Marillion's music, with Hogarth onboard, to life-affirming and positive, as opposed to the prior aquatic-life tone, then I can accept your opinion as being an honest expression of your feelings. Count me as one of the milions of proggers world-wide who would not listen to the '80's version of Marillion due to the inferior vocals. I discovered somewhat by accident that they had a new singer, so I gave them a second chance. There are legions of prog fans who will never give the current version of the band a listen solely because they think Fish still fronts it, and they long ago decided never to subject their ears to his "singing" ever again.
