I use to watch my dad close his eyes and sing this to my mam, we lost her christmas day 2023. It brings so many memories of love. Even when she lay in her last few weeks of life they played Marillion and spoke to each other through the songs. Thank you Marillion

It was a radical change toward an attempt at commercial success that in no minor way alienated their main fan base. On the flip side. they didn't have clout to get these singles out there without the push of their established base. Such a shame, as I really wasn't turned off by them releasing these good ones.
