The clean tone is just the clean channel on my amp. The distortion is a BOSS MT-2 Metal Zone. The lead parts are a Voodoo Labs Sparkle Drive Mod into a Black Art Toneworks Fnord fuzz (which creates a dying battery effect)

@@jakobsynn8570 no it isn't. You wouldn't be able to play the intro lead part if that was true and why tune down 1/2 step, which they don't do on any other song, rather than using drop d, which they use fairly often?

@@jakobsynn8570 I don't see how you'd play the verse/bridge easily either in drop d. I did look at all the live footage with daisy I could before I did this but the camera mostly focuses on manson but from what I could see, Daisy seemed to be playing in drop d. Can you link to any videos with timestamps that make it obvious? As for the set list, the way bands play things live is sometimes different from the studio. Sometimes this is to suit its place in the set tunings wise and sometimes it's because the song that ended up on the album changed a fair bit in production but they still play a version closer to what they wrote. I'm not trying to handwaive your question but I do get a lot of comments claiming I've got it wrong and then you ask for evidence and you never hear from them again. I spend a lot of time and effort working out tunings for manson stuff as so many tabs are just plain wrong. I look for interviews, listen to the song and experiment, consider what other tunings that guitarist likes to use and what their playing style is like and watch live footage and use any other evidence I have to arrive at the the tuning that was used on the studio version and exactly how the song was played

​ @Aleks W Did Daisy ever play it live with them? Are you thinking of Zim Zum, because he plays a Gibson for that song but a SG for every other Drop D song. I also don't think a guitarist is going to play a different guitar for one song during a set that is in the same tuning as a lot of other songs on the set. Also for the Verse, you're playing an E and Eb. The tab that you linked in the description is for Eb. I'm pretty sure I recorded this with a Boss MT2 Metal Zone for distortion so an old spider should be able to do that. I never had a Spider but I'm sure it'll have some kind of generic metal distortion/amp simulator so I'd start there. And yes that's really me
