Very interesting man, Marilyn Mason is. Marilyn was around before I was born for quiet a while but I have found him, not from all the bad talk but by myself. He is very intelligent. My mother told me, "he's one of the reasons I do not want to listen to metal and all that music you listen too" it only made me more curious. The more they try to make me something I'm not is only making me want to be like what they don't want me to be. I've had many people tell me to stay away from Marilyn's music not to support him to not support metal at all. But I still do because it's my escape and what I love! :) I hope others can relate.

I am in the same situation. I discovered Marilyn over the summer and not through all the allegations but I just somehow came across him and was intrigued. My parents and friends all don't like him, and tell me I shouldn't like him, but honestly I don't care. MM is such an intelligent, calm, artistic, unique, and incredibly talented guy, and I will never stop listening to him.
