there isn't anyone in the world putting on a show like this these days. that said, i am so glad manson is back now in 2024, is healthy and sober, and with his vocal power again! no one else does it like him.
@JimmyKlef12 күн бұрын
YEP. This further confirms that the 90s and early 2000s were the pinnacle of everything. There isn't anything like this anymore. I haven''t ever been huge on manson... but man was I lucky to grow up with him and others like him. Between him and Tool and Eminem and ... well everything from that time... I just don't see it anymore. We have post malone covering alice in chains. That's about it man. We need genuine edginess. We need bold people who know how to invent vibes for days. I could care less what kind of mess manson found himself in.... he created a world of art that absolutely will stand the test of time. I miss performances like this so so so fucking much. Where the fuck are people like this? Too broke? Too scared of internet society? We need more people to say fuck it.

@JimmyKlef12 күн бұрын
@@ThundersMcCoy I wonder about that a great deal. One of my favorite things to do is take whatever i am experiencing and extrapolate to others. My girlfriends father was in vietnam. I have spent dozens of hours just imagining that mans life. He was 18 when he went to war. I am currently 34. I still don't feel ready for something like that. I don't think any reasonable person would. And on a lighter note... I think this way about the art world too. What was it like to see THE SHINING in fucking theaters when in came out? I will never know. But people walk this planet that do. I love to learn from the older crowd. Even if I am verging on it myself. I was the youngest growing up so I have a healthy fascination with older peoples lives and way of being. It's a bit of a purpose of mine to continue some old tried and true things about life from our generations before us.

@@JimmyKlef😂agree with everything except the EM. Dude had always been corny and full of cheese. He was never even the fastest rapper or funny either. Most nerdy insufferable weak voice of all time. Not to mention the trump diss. That was the most embarrassing cringe thing to ever hit the internet. I’m not even a trumper. It was manufactured for people that don’t know any better to buy into the hype. They even set up a fake battle before the album slim shady just so he could win and build up hype. I don’t even like rap. But my friends did and they’re were plenty that had something to say there beats and super fast. It’s always style and talent over just a gimmick. 90s still had plenty of crap and most of it was mainstream except it’s was actually listenable for the first time ever. Instead of being completely soulless like previous generations. The best stuff was always huge amongst music lovers and grew from there but never made it to radio and was just as popular. Same with every generation since the 70s. People always glorify the 90s then name off basic crap that was just so simply entertainment. Not the brilliant artist that moved people.
@marsoblivi0n94512 күн бұрын
@@ThundersMcCoyexcept most the mainstream crap people name off. About the only mainstream act from then deserving was sabbath & Pink Floyd. Nobody ever names off brilliance like Townes van Zandt or Leonard cohen and countless others. Always naming crappy cheese rock bands. Real punk was the best thing to happen to the 70s. A direct response to all that boring roaster of bands singing about sec drugs and rock n roll constantly. Never staring for anything.😂
@KeithDaviesMusic12 күн бұрын
Record companies are to blame as to why there's nothing like this any more. All they want is quick money and then they dump the artist. Slipknot and Korn are about the only ones left of this generation and we haven't seen any one close to it since.
