Tuesday, July 18, 2017 - Marilyn Manson appears to have gained weight and is looking somber as he goes through LAX TSA just one week after his father Hugh Warner passed away, headed to Europe to keep up with his busy concert schedule for his 'The Heaven Upside Down' tour. Manson was a chatty Cathy though, making his female airline handler blush and getting a smile out of TSA agents.

Unfortunately it is NOT illegal by US law. If you're in a public place it is perfectly legal for someone to take photographs or video of you without your permission. (Though if you're in a restaurant or club or something, they establishment can throw the person out & try to demand the footage) It's only illegal if it's someones home/hotel room, or through a window into a home/hotel room, a bathroom, locker room, dressing room, etc. But an airport is a public area. Morally it's totally wrong though.

There is Marilyn Manson the artist, performer, and showman, and there is Marilyn Manson the guy. I think people forget that even famous rock artists are also regular people just like the rest of us. You can watch interviews by not only him, but by many other legendary artists like Freddie Mercury, Jack White, etc. and their sit-down-and-chat persona is very different than their stage persona. Being an artist is more than writing songs and singing, you also are literally putting on a performance, a show, and Marilyn Manson is yet another example of a regular guy who has an extraordinary talent and is a master of performance. He still eats, sleeps, shits, and grieves like the rest of us.
