The Unkindled... I totally agree. My Personal Opinion, is that it took Marilyn Manson to point out what the Pope should have already done. Not only had the New Pope NOT visited Pius but, it hadn't even occurred to him to do so until Manson pointed it out. Also, very telling that New Pope 's main concern was that Marilyn Manson didn't recognize him. And this was after last week when he mentioned that meeting Marilyn Manson was to be one of the "perks of the Papacy ". He was mortified that Manson didn't recognize him. Great intense and telling scene. Much revealed about Pope JP III in those few seconds. I found it very powerful. Far from boring, for sure. Again, just my opinion of it. My only disappointment was that Manson didn't get a few more scenes.

Marilyn Manson is a fascinating and inspiring character. I think that most people have no idea how intelligent and friendly he is. Watch a few interviews. It isn't so hard to see that underneath the persona is a considerate and well educated individual. It is ironic, but given the chance to speak with the Pope (any Pope really) or Marilyn Manson, Jesus Christ would likely choose the latter rather than the former.

@Agitated Do you really want to blow your mind? Go look at the Satanist's Churches Creed, it's surprisingly pleasant. When he showed up they killed him as a sacrifice to Satan. To all the childish people commenting about how "fat" Manson has gotten: people gain weight as they get older... unless they do heavy work out routines and diet just for the sake of maintaining an image... and, honestly, Manson is not about caring what others think or fitting into a social norm. He does as he pleases, and that's admirable. So, to say "he's getting fat" is pretty sad on your part, because it shows that you are stuck in the same mindset that his entire persona is against. I personally am not a fan of his music, but I have always admired his way of staying true to himself and I agree with his philosophies, both spoken and unspoken. He is what society lacks personified. We badly lack the willingness to accept people for who they are or how they look because we are force-fed images of false beauty every day by a media that does nothing but lie, manipulate, and brainwash. Grow up and open your minds.
@anthonyvaldes10215 жыл бұрын
Being fat is not an identity or who someone "is". Its due to an over-consumption of food and lack of physical activity to compensate. Its usually a sign of a deeper issue like depression. There's a reason why we instinctively judge overweight people, and its not because of brainwashing or image disorders. Deep down, we know they aren't doing something right, or neglecting their health. It goes as far back as Biblical times with the 7 deadly sins (which are really just guidelines to being a better human being), such as Sloth and Gluttony. Stop making excuses for being unhealthy, you don't have to be a supermodel, but you shouldn't be fat either.
@devoncrestway3385 жыл бұрын
@@anthonyvaldes1021 lol if you really believe it's that cut and dry, you're a buffoon of the highest order of social patheticness. There are far more reasons a person could be what we recognize as "overweight" that have nothing to do with depression or even eating disorders. And, contrary to popular belief, not everyone who is "overweight" is unhealthy. I'm not talking about people who are like... say... 300 plus pounds. I'm talking about average folks. For example, if a person is 6'5 and weighs 250 pounds, that doesn't mean they're unhealthy. It's more likely that a person who is 6'5 and weighs only 120 pounds is legitimately unhealthy. We always jump to call a larger person unhealthy, but we rarely mention the fact that being too thin is also an issue. People are people. They don't have to be lumped into categories or judged on meaningless things.
@devoncrestway3385 жыл бұрын
@@anthonyvaldes1021 also, if a person is happy, who cares? I look at it this way: if a person is happy, let them look how they look. But if a person is down on themselves because of their weight, then they should change it. I know a lot of very happy and satisfied people that most people would probably call "overweight". but, at the end of the day, mental health is what makes life worth living, not physical. it's all a matter of perspective. there is merit to what you said in your first comment, no doubt, but i'll take a healthy brain over a smaller size waistline any day. for the record, i'm 6'3, 186 pounds, but if i had to stop working out tomorrow for any medical reason, i'd go downhill physically. i know a few people who can't workout or perform strenuous activities because of various health reasons, so it's a concern. but those people are happy, even though they're not "healthy" by social standards. i see more miserable-ass people in the gym when i go than i do at these people's houses. that says something. i'm not saying "fat is happy", lol, i'm just saying that it's not always the horrible thing we make it out to be.
@devoncrestway3385 жыл бұрын
@@anthonyvaldes1021 also, history has proven that our idea of what is "attractive" is subjective to what we are told by higher authorities. For example, in medieval times, the bigger a person was, weight-wise, the sexier they were considered. it was a sign of wealth and upper class. then, somewhere along the way, someone said "oh, that's ugly" and now we all think smaller is better. if you really look into it, it IS brainwashing bullshit. sorry, but it's true. my comment wasn't initially about what's unhealthy and what's not, it was about how we, as a society, view weight. and, in that regard, YES, it is very much the product of brainwashing. it's very much "the TV told me this, so i have to go along with it". i promise you, if mankind had to start over tomorrow and we had no TV, no social media, no form of media to tell us what we should think, we would find out how little things like weight, color, and social standing matters. we would be forced to go back to a time when humans could form their own opinions instead of being pressured into believing what's being taught to them.
@joelsommers5 жыл бұрын
@@anthonyvaldes1021 Being over-weight can also be a function of medication. You even mentioned depression, a condition often treated by meds that often induce weight gain in some of the people who take them. I agree with DiMaggia Yen--your view on obesity is kind of provincial, narrow, and a little bit mean. Anyway, the NIH does agree with you in that overeating and lack of exercise is the most common cause of obesity, but not the only one. Following closely behind are stress, genetics, medications, medical conditions and environmental constraints or conditions.

Amazing, these two acting together. The vocals are soothing ear candy. I hope Manson is in this series more than what’s just shown here. 🔥
