I never gave Manson a chance. Always listened to much harder music.... Then I heard this and I literally pour tears every time I hear it. It's gut wrenching, yet so beautiful.

I appreciate this comment so much!!! So many people just have no clue, I hate seeing how much people haven't realized that it takes all walks to make this world & each & every person is so much more than you see. He has been a strong presence in my life & as I've matured the more I've understood him & seen all his layers. There will never ever be another Manson. My biggest hope is to see him pro-form & meet him but if not I can be happy accepting the privilege I've had to life in the times of him & all he's given to this world.

I've been hearing Manson's songs since I was 8 back in 2006, back then I got into the deep, heavy sound and I never cared for lyrics. Now as an adult I keep finding the poetry within every time I listen to the albums all over again.

what a great song. Makes me cry. I understand his pain, I have been there! Their love was like a furnace that burned up everything in its white-hot heat. I hope Marilyn finds a strong beautiful and passionate woman who can love him for the beautiful profound and intelligent human being that he is. Even did not deserve him. It should never be two against the world, is is meant to be two people in harmony, who make each other better people!

The point of this song, in my opinion, is about love so strong that it can withstand ANY KIND of opposition and would even burn heaven down 'if needed' to flourish. I even recommend it to hardcore Christians, because God is love and "if God is love and Love always wins, then win win"

Remember when I took you Up to the top of the hill? We had our knives drawn. They were as sharp As we were in love. If God crossed us We'd take all his drugs, Burn his money And his house down, And wait for the fire to spread. Sometimes hate is not enough To turn this all to ashes. Together as one Against all others Break all of your wings and Make sure it crashes We're running to the Edge of the world Running, running away We're running to the edge of the world I don't know if the world will end today I had no choice, I erased the debt of our family, Let you say goodbye With lips like dynamite. And everyone Turned their backs Because they knew When we held on tight To each other, We were something fatal, That fell into the wrong hands. Sometimes hate is not enough To turn this all to ashes. Together as one Against all others Break all of your wings and Make sure it crashes We're running to the Edge of the world Running, running away We're running to the edge of the world I don't know if the world will end today

Relax.. I was in love too, best woman I ever met, gone. But no need to go off on someone who weren't treated like shit, maybe he will understand one day but saying it with anger is just pointless. Yes people can be cruel, they judge because they think people like Marilyn is all about hatred and different. Yet, those people are the nicest person you could ever met, like you. There are more people who respects him than people who hates him. He inspired people. That's what matters.
