About the show:
Marimayam is a sitcom aired on Mazhavil Manorama that depicts certain real public incidents that common people come across. This popular comedy show conveys a real picture of government offices in Kerala.
Marimayam uses humour and satire to tug at the red tape that entangles people in rules and regulation. The show highlights sleaze, incompetence and delay in government offices, public and private institutions. The series shows the common man and his woes as he runs from one office to the other in search of a solution to his problems. Sathyasheelan, Koya, Valsala, Mandodari and Syamala, all characters in the show, highlight how red tape often strangles the common man or ties him in knots.

Mariayam can make changes in the Society. I always wondered why buses go to Karamana through Thapanoor instead of choosing the road in front of New Ramachandra at Attakklanara. And also thought why not AC buses schedled during oyffice time from laces like Neyyattinkara Kattakkada Nedmangad and Attingal.

people use ksrtc only when the travel become comfortable. Crowded buses may give more money. But the majority of people doesnt want to make an uncomfortable journey. they may not be bothered by the hiked rate. Remeber India is not a poor contry now to fill a 50 seated bus with 70 people. See how successful is end to end buses from Nagercoil to Tirunelveli PL make survey or learn from Nagercoil Bus-stand
