Marin Fog Time Lapse (Day to Night)

Time Lapse spanning about 5 hours from different locations on the Marin Headlands. Most sequences lapse by three second between frames. Camera: EOS5D Mark II -- single frames stitched together, not video.

Nice work. Could you please explain what you mean by "single frames stitched together, not video"? Since it is uploaded on youtube it has to be a video file.

do you stick to a half second for each shot or something? i find i capture much less images when darkness comes

@bassmaster5675 you probably have ambient incandescent light from buildings, lightposts or other things. This video doesn't have any, so the colors are conveniently more natural. If you look at my other videos that transition from day to night, the same problem exists. You can adjust for this a bit by using manual white balance and decrementing the Kelvin temp in 1K steps, starting at 3700 (incandescent lights start to "brown" the image) till 2700 (or whatever your camera permits).

@IAMLOZZY11 When darkness comes, each shot ranges from :10 (full moon) to :30 (no moon).
