I am grateful to have grown up in Mill Valley 60s-80s on Mountain View Ave. Mt Tam and or the fog was the first thing I saw every morning and the last in the evening. We have spent countless hours enjoying the views, trails, playing, exploring so much of the mountain it made for a magical childhood and only learned to appreciate more as we grew up, I am thankful, we are lucky and you captured it beautifully. Thanks for sharing your video, Maryl Meyer Maehler

There is no place on earth like Mt Tam, when hiking on one of its trails that busy world below fades

@@Garyyost Thanks, Gary. Mind sharing the gear your'e using to capture this footage? I'm pretty familiar with astrophotography and was successful in getting some nice images of Comet NEOWISE. What panning device are you using? What were your intervalometer settings?

@@drebjhamer That was a long time ago and I've gone through three different motion control iterations since then, but for that footage I believe I was using a small single-axis zacuto slider and a very simple variable speed motor... my first moco rig. Intervals for astro photography up there are usually ~30" wide open, but YMMV depending upon your max aperture and other factors (such as presence of fog, moon, etc). I recommend finding shifts in which you've got no moon and plenty of fog to blanket city lights for best conditions, Have fun!
