Marina Abramovic with Klaus Biesenbach and Marco Anelli

Join us for a closer look into one of Marina Abramovic's latest works, "The Artist is Present" which is now documented in a book of photographs by Marco Anelli, called Portraits in the Presence of Marina Abramovic. The performance occurred within the walls of MOMA in the midst of the retrospective of her work in 2010. Along with the curator of the show, Klaus Beisenbach, who is also the current director of MOMA PS1 and the Chief Curator at Large at MOMA and the photographer Marco Anelli, we learn about how this 736 hour and 30 minute static, silent piece came into being and was actually pulled off.).
