Soft to be Strong is like a summary of all her musical career. From The Family Jewels where she presents herself as a powerful, but misunderstood woman in a hard world ("I know it's hard to be soft, I know it hurts to be kind"), passing by Electra Heart where she gets her heart broken constantly so she doubts about love ("I know that when love is lost it's only fear in disguise", "Somebody hurt me long ago"). Then Froot where she started getting stronger and understanding how the world works ("I belive the world is beutiful, only the weak ones are cruel"). Now in its last album she has find a way to 'live': "the truth is, you have to be soft to be strong"

Crazy you compare it to Love. Most fans are 100 percent all about the Fear side. It just represents Marina so much compared to her past work. Glad you enjoyed both however. Marina is THE underrated pop artist.

As a fan of Tahliah (Twigs) since the release of her first EP, I did not like the song itself but the music video is one of the most well produced music videos I have ever watched in my entire life. AJay's reaction to it would definitely be interesting and fun to watch.
