THIS IS MY FAVORITE WILD CAMPING FREE STOPOVER.
We stayed here for 3 nights and we loved it .
30 mins walk into the city center, you can also get a taxi €10 back to the Merina.
We didn’t get the taxi we walked , but people we met got a taxi back.
It’s 10 mins walk to the Merina Market dog friendly ( it’s a must visit )
Black market is 5 mins walk from the stopover dog friendly ( also a must visit )
Then while we where in the city we visited the English market witch is definitely a must .

You were over halfway to Blackrock village when you turned back at the Atlantic Pond. Nice spot for a coffee or a pint as well. There's a longer walk that goes out past the village as well, out to Blackrock Castle (about 1k beyond the village) and out along the Waterfront.There's a 10km loop from where you were parked, half of it on the waterside and the other half on "the Line' - an old railway line, now a greenway. Bit of a long walk but it's flat all the way.

it’s opened from Wensday to Sunday from 9am to 8pm. Saturday & Sunday it’s open 10am to 8pm . thank you 🙏🏼
