Why 1:18 staccato?? it must be lagato...
@knitwit94475 жыл бұрын
The most commonly found version of this is rewritten by Louis Moyse, who purposefully leaves the articulation markings ambiguous at the triplet parts so the player can choose between legato and staccato
@amilehonstein16714 жыл бұрын
I prefer the triple tonguing staccato as well.

sooooo stacatto! why so stacatto? the pianist especially is playing as if everything is stacatto by default, unless specifically directed otherwise. my wife and I are playing this.

@@lionalesso2770 that's very interesting, thanks! Personally I like a lot of that stuff better slurred, but I think allowing for performer choice is nice.
@jaredhoeft28326 жыл бұрын
@@lionalesso2770 yes, my wife and I performed the whole piece at our annual concert last year. I assume you're asking about an approach to learning the flute part? I couldn't answer that since I'm the pianist :/
@musiclovers53922 жыл бұрын
Hmm..I rather think that it is very articulated instead of thinking, 'too stacatto.' And, the piano parts doesn't much have legato marking, either, which means the composer wanted the accompanist ve articulated! 😉

what fingering did she use for the high g to high a trill??
@KarinaEijo5 жыл бұрын
She might have a C# trill, so if that’s the case she would have fingered high G and trilled C# trill and first trill key.
@ThatBlackSheepy5 жыл бұрын
hi! it might be a bit late but if you don’t have a C# trill you can finger high g and trill the Ab key along with both trill keys. this was the standard fingering before C# trills were common :)
