It's just an effect. What people use to call "autotune" is a really nice job of correction made by hand to make it sound in tune and realistic at the same time. That's what she doesn't need ;)

'auto tune' is a stylistic effect, 'pitch correction' is the one people use to mask bad singing - two totally different things. Pitch correction will be un noticed 99% of the time & it's even used live without being detected
