I'm a long time fan of her music, so I might sound bias loving this version. I like Nickelback as well. But this song I think is the definition of a cover. See when a good cover is done, it's suppose to take a different look at the original. Like a two sides of a coin, each side has different look but it's the same coin. She took this song and showed how she looked at it in her eyes, that's what makes a good cover. Another good example is when The Cardigans (Swedish rock bad) covered Iron Man by Black Sabbath which is known as that rock song, but the Cardigans gave it their own look to an already great song. That my friends is true music, like this cover it's a song already been done but just feels fresher to the ears.
