They are paid the same as any other branch, by rank, but money really should not be you're reason for joining.

The U.S. Marines are an amphibious force that specializes in naval deployment and has its own air and naval assets the Army is an occupation force and covers land warfare it doesn't have its own naval and air assets aside from gunships. The Marines are also usually more elite then the typical Army grunt.

my friend gets paid ~550 per 2 weeks. after boot camp. which is pretty much a job that pays 10/hr but marines give you more by benefits.

0321 is force recon,and you can apply for that without them tellinig you,but you are just applying for the 0311 field and to have the chance to go through the training its not 100% that you'll be recon you have to pass the training

i like how my comment has been flagged. its the truth, the majority of them are joining because of monetary issues. Most of them online are constantly asking what is the pay like, how much will you get for BAH, will this pay for college. Some join for other reasons, but its overshadowed by those who are joining with the only intent is to get college benefits.

dont worry if you cant do a pull up just practice you might want to be able to do 1. at boot camp by the end you will be able to do a lot more than 0-1.

So I didn't watch that far ahead, but from what I have heard if you are not in the field then you are either taking online training courses or cleaning up around the barracks, and sitting on your ass, bored as hell, until nco comes in and tells you what to do next or until the duty day is over.

Infantry units should just scrimmage with MILES all day and practice flanks, defensive positions, breaking contact, engaging contact, marksmanship. I understand it gets expensive after awhile but shit. They need civilians doing the cleaning jobs on base that they make the enlisted personnel do. Maybe we would have more numbers.
