I recommend you to let him join a school that has MCJROTC. It stands for Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps. It teaches kids about leadership, building character, taking pride in the nation and developing informed and responsible citizens. It's only in highschools, but as a 15 girls who's been it it for almost 4 months now, lemme tell you, it's awesome, epic, and I love it!!

Best memory of the MC was calling the napalm sticks to kids song. It was fucking great until my Major came out of formation, chewed my ass out, then I got chewed out by two first sgts. Upon seeing this my Sgt Major ran to the front and asked wtf was going. Major and first sgts said my cadence was inappropriate. Sgt Major did not agree and proceeded to sing a song about kicking down doors and murdering people. It was fucking awesome. Sgt Major Acosta, you're the fucking man and I'll never forget you.

Look up MMA? Been there to visit in Harlingen many times.... Damn good program, but not the top performing program in our Region. They are usually in the top 3 along with Catholic and Jesuit HS. Because of location, MMA doesn't even come to most of the Regional MCJROTC competitions. Now do they make Naval Honor School almost every year? 1.)Yes because it's a College Preparatory High School with 100% of the students enrolled in MCJROTC and the amount of Service Academy/Academic scholarships that drive the scoring go in their favor, 2.) They do not have to compete with the rest of a traditional school population. School population is a lot lower now between 150-175 and they compete a lot less than they used to.

I got a Vietnam vet next to me as a neighbor and he sucks and don’t mind his biz. I’m a good guy w 2 biz and property and do things for seniors for free and pick up flags that I see on the ground and give back to my community at every opportunity. I have a work truck and he keeps calling the cops trying to have them make me move the truck and now he’s starting on my hotrod.being too loud. The car starts and I leave almost instantly…I never idle out front ever…..I respect my neighbors even if I don’t like them. Any old timers have any advice? Suck it the fuck up, in the marine corps you're always going to encounter shit bags, but people come and go. Unfortunately on JROTC that's not the case unless you transfer schools. Just suck it up, finish your four years (or at least two, that's all you need to contract PFC) then enlist in the marine corps. That way if you encounter a shit bag you can just lat-move after 4 years
