Lyrics, may be wrong, I also swapped 'they' with 'we' since I personally find it more fitting, and I always sang it that way, so it's hard to go against that. Just change it back if you're singing for nonMarines, I guess. Also, I finished the final verse you can hear trailing off at the end. You'd either transition to another cadence afterwards, or pass off to someone else. Edits for the ending will be in parenthesis, since despite the OP's comment, I'm more a fan of what I was taught as a continuation than what he responded with. So the parenthesis and the nonparenthesis equivalent are the same verse if singing; just pick the one you prefer. Up in the morning with the bloodshot eyes Now it looks like another tequila sunrise Stumbled and a staggered into the head Look in the mirror cause I think I'm dead Stumbled and a staggered into the commode I bend at the waste to puke my load Singing lo right a lei o A lefty right a lei o Lo right a lei o A lefty righty lo Way back in 1775 God had a vision in his eyes He made the Corps from guts and leaves Marine Corps lives ina you and me Marines we fought the Revolutionary War We fought for strips and we fought for stars It gave us strength and it gave us pride Marine Corps lives ina you and I Marines we fought the war in 1812 History taught us that war was hell It gave us strength and it gave us pride Marine Corps lives ina you and I Marines we fought in the Civil War Fought each other for a crazy cause The North wanted freedom and the South wanted Slaves Marine Corps lives in the bold and the brave Marines we fought in the first World War Surround by Germans Col Puller swore They're front and they're aft and they're at our sides The bastards can't get away this time Marines we fought in the second World War Hirohito wanted to even the score We dropped the bomb and the air got hot Turned Japan into a parking lot Marines we fought in Vietnam Send us anywhere we don't give a damn Once again it came our time to shoot Settle the score over in Beirut Marines were once again on the attack (To) save the Kuwaitis from Iraq We gave Saddam and the Kurds their wish Lower gas prices and some oil stained fish Go anywhere be it peace or war Even fight on foreign shores Sail the sea or through the skies Marines Corps lives ina you and I Lo right a lo righta lei o Lo right a lefty righty lo Lo right a lo right a lo right a lei o Lo right a lo right a lo right lei o Send a truce before it's too late Saddam has invaded Kuwait Grab your rifle and get a tan You can't scratch a rotation plan President Bush was a Talkin Tom We didn't know it would get that rough Thought Saddam was a man of reason We got him glassed in his killin season People are startin to understand Saddam Husain's one crazy man Gasses his people and tortures them too Saddam, this cluster bomb's for you Burnin oil and a acid rain! @@TheScribe114 To be honest with you, sir, I've always heard "surrounded by Germans Col Puller swore" as "surrounded by Germans, gonna pull a swarm." Cadences are weird like that, I guess. You kinda get to pull your own wording and meaning out of certain phrases, I guess I at least hope I know, since I called this same cadence for my admin school class in Camp Johnson, and half of them couldn't keep up. That's 75% on me, and 25% on them, I'd say. Tbf, the two main cadence callers on this day were me and my LCpl. Missed opportunity at this being the greatest marine corps enlistment commercial of all time if they included this cadence with marines running at the end of Oppenheimer. “We dropped the bomb and the air got hot” perfectly captures marine corps attitude towards shit lol.

I used this on a LRAD to troll Russian infantry in Ukraine this year. They replied in kind by yelling shut up and shelling my position lol. In my defense I played this for 24 hours. But you call cadence so well.
