It's Ganga Drive. Some grammatically ignorant people just ignore the fact that it's on river and blatantly started calling it "marine" drive which i hate. I mean why compare it with mumbai's marine drive.....ganga drive is such a good name and it has it's own charm....so many nice views of historcally important ganga ghats of patliputra.

It might help traffic for some years but when youre not looking at it from a drone, it will look ugly and like an eyesore. What Patna (Pataliputra) really could have had was a lovely riverfront like Sabaramati in Ahmedabad or Gomti in Lucknow. This Ganga Drive Road may prevent that from happening.

Ur comment suggests two things 1. U have no idea about the need for this project 2. U are highly prejudiced when talking of 'ugly and eyesore'... And needless to say that u won't have visited it ever. The other aspect is comparing it to Lucknow and Ahmedabad.. cumon..every place has its own needs.. probably in times to come cities on river banks would take inspiration and copy the Patna Ganga Drive way !

​@@iprashantpatel1. Yeah sure it might help solve traffic problems now but eventually traffic will increase and even this will not be enough. Patna, like a lot of other Indian cities, is badly planned and lacks a proper grid system so this Ganga Drive will still never solve the city's traffic problems. 2. Bro from the drone it looks really cool and modern but standing on the riverbank, it just blocks the view of the river. 3. Most developed cities of the world do not have roads like this which are built in the middle of the river. The only city I can think of is Seoul in South Korea where 50 years ago they built a huge flyover over an entire river in way that you would forget theres even a river there. They regretted their decision and now have demolished that flyover and have now built one of the most beautiful riverfronts.

Isn’t it a river front? The word marine is used for describing relation to sea or connection to sea. Marine water composition is totally different as compared to river water. You should call it River front or Ganga drive

This project has destroyed entire river front for next fifty years . No where in the world you will see any city destroys beach front or river front like this. They could have build this project vua city ...they just needed to acquire few hundred acres of land in city with some additional cost of few hundred crores .
