Also there's two Marine Corps birthdays. The I8th century American Revolutionary War ended in the early 1780s, the Continental Army no longer needed the Continental Marines. No funding, the Marines disbanded in 1783. In 11 July 1798 under the new title of The United States Marine Corps was born... again. Not really, the MEU is an infantry battalion reinforced with logistics elements, tanks, artillery and some other stuff I’m probably forgetting. The MEU generally can fit into one amphibious warfare vessel. The MEB is a substantially larger unit containing several subordinate MEBs along with a command unit. The MEF is the full division with supporting aviation and logistical regiments. *disclaimer: this is all from memory and I may have forgotten some stuff.

Multiple MOS's from 0100 Admin, 0300 Basic Infantry and on up and including Navy Hospital Corpsman, HM. And a big Semper Fi to them for keeping us Marines all at an operational readiness. It's been 53 years but I believe this is at least the basic MOS layout, or used to be.
