for those who are wondering, french fries arent really THAT available in JP. theres some in mcdonalds, but they have no size other than what we would consider medium AT BEST.

From my experience when I was traveling in Japan - most American Burger Chains in Japan, such as Carls Jr/Hardee’s near the Odaiba Gundam have fries. Fries are fairly rare outside of American-chain restaurants - so they just need to go to those for their fix if they want.
