I find it really odd that Marines only get trained on a specific weapon. Im an infantryman for the Canadian Forces and they train us on everything. Rocket launchers, grenade launchers, machine guns as well as the C7 rifle. Makes more sense to me that way.

The bolt automatically locks back on an empty magazine after firing the last round. They're sending the bolt home by hitting the button on the left side of the rifle, which would chamber another round if you put in a loaded mag.
