The reason for it is that in katakana, Maririn is マリリン and Masososo is マソソソ, which looks similar. This might just be my opinion, but I feel like members like Subaru, Marine, Pekora and Miko are really on a different level in terms of entertainment. No matter what content and no matter what video game they perform and play, nothing fails. Even with my lack of Japanese skills, I was able to understand 70% of their content. I can watch their content from start to finish without leaving my seat.
