Fabulos!

“I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo. "So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”

William Mount news said JNM had a TIA and that DJT held open the SecDef job with a temp for a long time waiting for JNM to recover. He did recover but did not wish to return to the SecDef job so a permanent SecDef was put into office.

What? Mattis had a heart attack? Oh wow. I don't know what 'william mount news' is but I have no interest in finding out. Yikes.

I’d love to hear more about how he struck out as board member of fraudulent blood testing startup Theranos and as DOD Sec. Both of which seem to hinge on failures of his verify, then trust maxim.

@FrankGutowski-ls8jt5 жыл бұрын
c3aloha He’s just trying to salvage his damaged reputation by peddling his book. If he were as good a leader as he professes, why couldn’t he budge Trump’s thinking? Trump could care less what he thought about NATO and other alliances. For once, I agree completely with Trump: “world’s most overrated general.”

@@FrankGutowski-ls8jt He has never professed that he's a good leader. He actually wrote the book before he became sec def. He just couldn't publish it because sec def's cant do so for some reason I forget. Its a bit unfair to expect him to be able to change someones mind. But especially with a narcassist like trump.

SkullKing11841 He took the job knowing Trump’s position on major issues relevant to his job. If he didn’t feel up to it as a leader, he should have declined the offer. My only interest in him involves lessons learned from failures at Theranos and DOD, coming at a late stage in one’s military career.
