where gauge glass is fitted? to the steam drum or water drum?

Of course steam drum thus water drum must be filled with water all the time.

@@salehsane3249 If it is fitted to the steam drum, how does it affects the pipes when steam drum is empty? Or does it affect the pipes when the water level is too low or nil?

@olivertwist6855 If I could understand you, the steam drum is not full of steam, around half of it is water and if water level reduce around more than 1/3 of steam drum the plant will be tripped. So always you can check the level via steam drum.
