hello,good day,i am a drill operator and i incounter problem about the hydraulic system of my rig,when i put in pull out mode rotation head cant grip the rods,sometimes reaction is too slow,foot clamp also is too late to grip rods,thats why it cause drop rods,how can i solve that?,can please teach me how?

Hi , i made a hydraulic log splitter , it works really well , it has a 5" ram 3" spear ex crane leveling ram , 28 GPM pump , 120 litre tank , all my fittings are the sweeping bend type and 1" hoses , bigger Inlet hose 1 1/2 i think , 30GPM spool valve , I would like to add a oil cooler in the return circuit but am not sure if i should have a loop Tee'ed off after the filter and large cooler ,do they fit a bypass valve ? or should all the flow go through ? i am not sure about this stuff or just add some fittings to my tank lid feed and return and get a smaller pump to circulate through a 40 row cooler with fan ? any help would be great .Cheers .
