"There is no plan." Preposterous. Absolutely disconnected from the realities of roster building. Example: Christian Walker was reported to be at the top of their wish-list. Now, and I need you to think really hard on this one, how could they have a wish-list if they didn't do any planning? Simply because they haven't kow-towed to the Phillies laughable demands or Boston's or Chicago's for Castillo and have maintained integrity for the sake of the major-league roster, you assert that they're indifferent??? I'm as critical as the next guy about this team but you guys are on some kinda different planet.

@@rooftopsports No, no. Really focus in, here. You're arguing that they have no plan. Let's use a metaphor. Let's say someone is arguing that U.S. currency doesn't exist. Then, to prove it, they pull out a $5 bill and say, 'Look at how stupid Abraham Lincoln looks. See? Stupid beard and everything. Therefore, the U.S. has no currency.' I might even agree with you that Abe looks stupid. But to use that to support such a laughably bad argument, to use an example that contradicts your very premise, deserves ridicule. What is a plan? In baseball terms, having a team goal, strategies that help you attain that goal, and tactics to effectuate your strategies. M's goal? Field an MLB roster that wins 54% of their games within a given budget. Strategies? Cheap player acquisition. Pitching development. Mental skills development. Tactics? Build in the DR to obtain inroads into international free agents. Draft, develop, and trade. Trade out burdensome contracts. You may not like the plan. I'd agree with you. But that's not the argument you're making. You're saying that the M's HAVE NO GOALS. NO STRATEGIES. NO TACTICS. You are wrong and until you admit it, you are worthy of condescension and ridicule.
