@Combine 96 No, in their description, it states that they are remnant of the UED expeditionary forces. Since the UED was defeated, they decided to band stick together as mercernaries to the highest bidder thanks to their more advanced goliaths. Whereas the siege breakers are ex-confederates who still use the old Arclite tanks which are heavily modified to surpass the newer Crucio tanks.

@@BFCrusader And yet somehow it just doesn't have the same punch as SC1. I think it's the cartoony visuals. Everything in SC2 is like a Fisher Price plastic model compared to the sharp sprites from original.
@hiperblaszter3 жыл бұрын
@@augustday9483 So many people jump to conclusion so fast about this. Developers dont push for ESRB ratings. The thing is a 3d modell is much harder to deal with than a 2d modells. For a 2d modell you can replace a dead unit frame by frame with any picture. So you can go for more gore without any performance issue. Your work is much harder with 3d modells. More work means more money or/and time and consumers (you) start whining. In an rts no NEED more colors becouse of visual cues.
@augustday94833 жыл бұрын
@@hiperblaszter Actually fun fact: SC1 used 3d models to create the units. They simply took pictures of the models at different angles and baked them into sprites. So if they could make convincing gritty visuals with SC1's cgi models from the mid 90s, surely SC2's models from 10+ years later could have achieved a similar affect. Unfortunately SC2's artstyle is simply bad.
