Oye! I haven't heard one story about those jams they had at St Rose of Lima with ferris wheels, games, and food! That was street funded for a couple of years. when did the dominicans start moving into the heights? early 80s? 90S? I remember always hearing growing up in corona the heights being called la pequena quisqueya. Corona had a big dominican population and some big players as well in the 80s and 90s.
