What I would have done to make so many games with only 8 different games would be to divide the position in the list by 8 using floor division, then use different bit fields from the resulting number to determine what patches to apply to the game ROM, such as alternate graphics and altered gameplay. Better yet, just have the eight games selectable from the main menu and then have a separate menu for the game options. Maybe have the player enter a string of letters similar to a Game Genie code, then use a similar method to the one I just described, except using that string of letters. Advertising: "TWO-THOUSAND-FORTY-EIGHT GAMES IN EIGHT!" This actually sounds like a mildly intriguing idea. Perhaps I should make this into a real thing.

That underwater shoot'em up looks like a bootleg of the old game Gradius. Same viewpoint angle, same gameplay I think, but it doesn't look like you get powerups like you do in every Gradius-like game. Even the utterly weird Parodius holds true to Gradius's gameplay. Just it throws a ton of weird visuals onto the Gradius gameplay. Also, looks like random enemies are on the ground like some Gradius enemies.
