It's not a bootleg, its just a banpresto figure. Before Popco had the liscense to distribute these figures in America, Banpresto was selling them internationally. Their quality standards are a but lower than popco's but they are still official.

Actually there is a company ripping of banpresto ... It's a fake banpresto and their items usually come in a baggy , the real banpresto uses the same logos and everything but uses blister packages just like popco . The mario one is possibly fake , but only if it came in a baggy , if it's the real banpresto item , it comes in blister packaging like popco .
