It’s really appreciate the fact that there’s more diversity in the Rabbis characters. Like original, they were like the Minions in that they’re all practically the same minus the eyes, but now you have big muscular rabbis, fat rabbis, rabbis with hairdos, and now (surprisedly) genders. Like the fact there’s actual female rabbis and rabbis of different sizes makes the rabbis feel like they’re really they’re own people rather them all being complete idiots.

Because giving Mario, Luigi, Peach and the rest of the "main crew" actual speech in a game is against Nintendo's rules for game development. They are not allowed to do it. Else they would probably have done it. The movie is an exception. But I agree that the game looks pretty inconsistent because of that.
