I don't understand why luigi and metal sonic can't talk. Mario I understand (see Mario super sluggers story mode intro), but luigi talked in super Mario galaxy 1 and 2 and metal talked in sonic heroes and sonic generations

I am very impressed with this roster. I would have taken four or six newcomers, but we got DOUBLE the amount of characters from last game. So nice, though I would have personally loved to see Toad, Toadette, and Lemmy for Team Mario and Big, Charmy, and Storm for Team Sonic. But seriously, having 20 newcomers is most impressive. :)

I recntley found out that roy, Ludwig, brido, dry bones, omega, dr nega, and cream are cut because some evnts like long jumo aand javelin contain two newcomers and the wii u version only wants one in each. roy and crean=m were both cut because the event rouge is exclusive to, golf, is not in the game so she got put in volleyball. golf is replaced by rugby, and 110m hurdles is replaced by 4x100m where toad is only playable in the wii u version
