Mario is from my time, I even remember his reality tv show with his mom. I love the song and video, it's clear it's about his mom. What I am distracted about is why he selected a light skin, darn near white, mix hair woman to play his mom in the video, when I remembered a beautiful chocolate woman. Was Mom light skin when he was younger and got an irreversible tan from the sun? or was the casting for this video that careless? I cried the entire video. This was my life as a child only I had younger siblings in tow to protect. Even down to being traded to a dealer who luckily knew my grandmother and took me straight to her. By the grace of God my mother is still here and she overcame her addiction on her own. She’s an excellent grandmother to my now teenaged daughter, even held me up when I lost my older daughter. I can’t imagine his pain. He’s so brave for this one! Continue to win King!
