Il pathos è presente in ogni nota,il Lab smorzato è eseguito con classe ( Al diavolo chi dice fesserie sui piani di Del Monaco) il pensiero a Carmen è presente sin dall'inizio,e poi il finale sul SIb a tutta voce (il contrario di come è scritto) è sostenuto con tecnica perfetta!!! To był fenomen. Monaco każdą frazę atakował z tzw. góry. Każdy wydobywany przez niego dźwięk był ze szczytu. Tak właśnie powinno się śpiewać. Ale to jest trudne i w rezultacie po latach forsowne dla ludzkiego głosu. Dlatego Włosi mawiaja, że kariera operowa winna trwać 20 lat i ani dnia dłużej. Dlatego gwiazda del Monaco przyblakła, iż zamienił się on bardziej w barytona. Ale w szczycie swej kariery był absolutnie niedościgniony pod względem między innymi techniki śpiewu. Jest moim idolem. Obecni tenorzy mają wspaniałe głosy jak chociażby Jonas Kaufman ale śpiewać nie potrafią. Nie wiem, czy oszczędzają aparat mowy? Oni mają śpiewać a nie miarkować. Brakuje wielkich tenorów dramatycznych. Takich, którzy przez samo otwarcie ust, wbijali słuchaczy w podłogę. Tak nalezy śpiewać. Jak Mario del Monaco.

Il habitait TARBES et GUY CHAUVET très jeune...l'admirait ( mais la voix de mon père était plus belle ...il ressemblait à THILL ) Ce qui me gêne chez MDM n'est pas la langue Jusque dans les années 70 partout on chantait LOCAl, ,..Italien..Allemand en Français..et dans les autres pays ...idem. Chez MDM il y a la sensation de chant ...sans ligne de chant ..peu soigné...peu élégant...Les sanglots vérsites de la fin..inutiles..la HIGH note de la fin..trop OSTENTATATOIRE et proilongée.. Même erreur avec F CORELLI au même endroit.. Mais j'aime CORELLI..plus nuancé , plus élégant et JUSTE..et son timbre. . j'ai entendu au disque TOUS LES TÉNORS. .en 1963 les premiers repiquages de CARUSO 1902 +PIANO m'ont marqué à jamais...".non piu mobile...Musica prohibita...mephistophèle. .".. J'ai entendu À PARIS et 1964 RIGOLETTO ET LA BOHÊME EN Français sans gêne.. Segnali pure, ma mi sa che il 99% degli amanti della lirica dovranno farsi la "cura ricostituente di buon gusto", dato che del monaco è molto amato. Il gusto personale poi non si discute, io non amo corelli per una questione di gusto personale, ma riconosco che è un grandissimo artista. Qui ripeto solo che l’argomento della soggettività del gusto è convincente, ma fino ad un certo punto. C’è tanta gente che piange a dirotto a vedere la sceneggiata napoletana e che si addormenterebbe ad ascoltare il Requiem di Verdi. E non credo proprio… Che poi Del Monaco sia “universalmente riconosciuto” varrà certo per il suo successo di pubblico, per la grossa discografia, per i partner con cui ha cantato, per gli straordinari mezzi fisici, etc. etc. Ma sul piano dello stile, del buon gusto, della profondità dell’interpretazione - cioè sul piano propriamente artistico - dubito fortemente che ci sia l’unanimità di cui lei parla. Molti dei critici musicali più illustri hanno anche loro, ben più autorevolmente di me, sottolineato la piattezza, la volgarità, la superficialità, l’inutile istrionismo di Del Monaco. Non so, cito il primo che mi capita… “Del Monaco spiana nove segni d’espressione su dieci, raggiunge ogni nota come gli pare e la tiene come gli pare, esibisce una volgarità espressiva talmente ostentata da rischiare persino di apparire - oggi - una consapevole cifra interpretativa.” Lei dirà che Elvio Giudici è un cretino, ok, e così Celletti e altri. Benissimo. Faccio notare però che nessuno mai, cretino o intelligente che sia, si sognerebbe mai di scrivere queste parole per un Vickers, un Bergonzi, un Corelli e tanti altri, di cui si possono notare carenze puramente vocali, ma non certo la serietà artistica, la dignità, la compostezza. Ma si guardi invece certe performance di Del Monaco, ma non la fanno ridere? Quei singhiozzoni, quelle risate psichiatriche, quegli occhiacci sbarrati, quelle movenze da teatro dei pupi, quella falsa emotività sbrodolata fuori senza né misura né verità… Ma a lei piacciono quelle cose? La commuovono? Per lei basta l'acutone cazzuto tenuto per 15 secondi invece di 10, e non c'è bisogno d'altro? Faccia lei… Tutti i gusti sono gusti, come disse il gatto leccandosi sotto la coda. Quanto a Grigolo e Meli - francamente - li conosco a stento di nome, giusto quanto serve per poterli evitare.

@@gaddovarzi6980 del monaco era un maniaco della tecnica, e credo che sui dischi rispettasse le partiture più o meno alla lettera. Dal vivo è tutta un'altra cosa, si tende a esprimere l'opera in tutto il suo pathos e in tutta la sua drammaticità, Del monaco è volutamente istrionico perché da un'interpretazione fortemente emotiva, altri come corelli e bergonzi danno interpretazioni diverse, meno accorate o comunque meno istrioniche. A me piacciono entrambi gli approcci, sicuramente in teatro preferirei farmi emozionare dalla passione di del monaco che godere della precisione stilistica di un altro. Capisco chi non ama l'istronismo, non condivido gli snobbismi da critico con la penna rossa in mano. Saluti
