This game was planned to release in Summer 2013 but Nintendo delayed to 1 year after, because they thought the 3ds already had a solid lineup in that year, in hindsight thats the reason why World Tour is packed with content and polish and its now considered the best Mario Sports game of the 2010s.

This was my first Mario Sports game (If you don't count Kart or Party) and i must say that i loved it. A lot of years later i got the Mario Tennis Aces and it was alright, it was the first Mario Tennis i played and i didn't really had a refence, but once they announce Mario Golf Super Rush, i saw the downgrade in the franchise, you have all this options of Gameplay and modes in World Tour and Super Rush just looked like they took away the magic (The game doesn't even have difficulty settings... ¿Why?) so i stick to the old World Tour. Last year when they announced the clossure of the 3DS eshop, with all the Mario Vs Donkey Kong franchise and Sonic Generations i bought the DLC for this game. So much love and care put into it. I hope they some day do a sequel to this game that is at the same level. Thank you for talking about it, is really hard to find people who cares about this game. (Even looking for some songs is hard)

This game seriously needs more love. I did an entire Reddit review on r/Nintendo and people were quite receptive to my post, as many folks weren’t even aware that World Tour existed.

I loved this video dude! You really did a good job. I have to agree that this is easily in my top 5 favorite Mario sports games, definitely a must buy for the 3DS. Toadstool Tour is also in that list and you should play it when you get the chance. Also you may already know this but all of the DLC courses are from Mario Golf on the N64. Well the holes I mean. Toad Highlands and Koopa Park do return, but the others are reskins in this game.
