Mario Kart 64 - Banshee Boardwalk Cheating A.I. Exposed

Every wonder why it's nearly impossible to catch up to an A.I. controlled character once it disappears from your screen? Game logic no longer applies to the CPU off screen giving them an unfair advantage. The game has been set only "render" the northern coordinates. Luigi, whom is controlled by the games' A.I will demonstrate the cheating that goes off the screen. Also, Luigi is set to always come in first, so he will have the fastest velocity.
*Things to note. Watch the speedometer. When you can see Luigi, game logic is being applied to him. Once he disappears the cheating will occur.

Mario kart tour has fake multiplayer tho unless you actually press the multiplayer button in the menu

The most noticable thing is every time he disappears, his speed gets stuck at 80 km/h and when he gets hit, he doesn't stop but keeps going...at *80 km/h!* The rubberband AI...we all wish it wasn't there but then there'd be no challenge from CPUs.

By far the worst and most irritating stage in my opinion. Pits are EVERYWHERE with some fairly sharp turns and fast AI that almost never falls

I hated this map with a passion. Especially that last part towards the finishing line. Cpu always gained speed right then to pass me right at the end causing me to finish 2nd....

Any chance you could do this with the Wii version mate? I've got a funny feeling that game isn't guilty of cheating the speedometer but rather breaking the balance of the item drops.

No wonder MKDS was so easy... the cheating AI system was broken.

Actually in MKDS , the IA is fixed to some position (i talk about them like the player is first) : 2rd and 3th are always the same (switch between them in VS mode or if you finish 4th or more in championship in a race) and the others are pretty much random but slowdown if they reach the place from a pre-determined player (2rd or 3th) Also when the 3th fixed racer go out , the character that took is place slowdown and any other character between 2 to 3 spot (depend on if they have pass the pre-fixed 3rd player in some way) goes crazy but slowdown right after the 3rd player take is own place again. And finally if the player in 2nd place goes out , all others CPU that pass him slowdown.

Some places in the track require game logic to make it fair, as you see in the last lap, game logic is applied to luigi when heading next to the finish line.

And game logic is applied to him in the same exact locations of each lap aswell to make the game fair in some areas of the track.
