Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, But BOOST PANELS Are Everywhere!! In this video, we check out a mod I created for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for Nintendo Switch that replaces all the road with boost panels! I even changed some of the tracks from Wave 1 of the Booster Course Pass DLC! Is it possible to complete every track on 200cc without falling off or being picked up by Lakitu? This was super fun and I can't wait to release the mod in a couple of weeks so you can all try it too!

Kind of odd how the last courses all seemed to have their textures aligned really smoothly, so the arrow always traveled along the path, maybe it says something about the devs setting the ground up more specifically than with previous tracks.

When I was a lot younger In Mario Kart DS the boost panels were rainbow colored so when I got to rainbow road I was excited because I thought the whole level was going to be one huge speed boost. I was disappointed.

I don't blame you for having trouble with Neo Bowser City. That one section of the track is nasty even on just 150cc. The course was obviously designed for MK7's comparatively sluggish speeds and probably should have been scaled up a bit when Nintendo ported it to MK8.

Nah I enjoy it, forces people to learn how to break drift or at least let off the gas.

@@iaxacs3801 Brake drifting is fine, but unless you're playing 200cc (which is supposed to be more of a challenge) letting off the gas is a counterintuitive thing to do and on 150cc that one section is literally the only place in the entire game where you'd need to do so. So it's less a teaching moment and more a bit of a kaizo trap.
