This gamemode looks really fun. One thing I would change though is to decrease the speed of the people hiding after a certain amount of time and limiting them to one set of triple shrooms while decreasing the timer by a decent amount. That way there's more of an emphasis on hiding and less of an emphasis on running, so it's more hide-and-seek instead of tag (which could itself be an interesting game mode).

There should be a Hide and Sneek Battle Mode in the next Mario Kart game. It would be similar to Renegade Roundup in 8 Deluxe but you couldn't free your teammates and there wouldn't be Piranha Plants
