Mario Kart 8 Deluxe... It's Been Real...

I have been playing Mario Kart 8 since it came out on the Wii U back in 2014 and I have been playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the Switch since it came out in 2017 and I can safely say that I am ready to move on to Mario Kart 9 or whatever the new Mario Kart game on the Switch 2 is going to be called.

both the original and Deluxe got DLC and there was a lot of hype for the booster course pass, so it is very likely that the next Mario Kart will also get DLC, in fact it will probably be multiple waves or DLC spread over several years like the booster course pass

Several years? You mean 2. Because that is the longest, most Nintendo games get post launch updates for. Nintendo doesn't want 1 game to take up too much of your time, when they want to sell you the next game on their release scedule.

@LG555 the thing is that 95% of the booster course pass were ports from tour courses, if the next game gets DLC the waves would take a little longer to release, even if there not 48 courses
