i mean, i have Mario Kart 8 on wii u, so i play that since i don't have a switch (yet). I'm trying to unlock all the characters so i usually only race on 100cc or 150cc. but just last week my friend came over (he has a switch) and we played MK8D on 200cc. i originally tried to do it without Smart Steering, but i failed pretty bad. all in all, i don't have much experience on 200cc, and i haven't practiced with Smart Steering since i don't have it.

Every time I hold on to a good item, I get lightning'd. Especially when it comes to the red horn; I keep it till first place in case of blue shell but there's pretty much always a lightning first and I don't get to use it.
