Roadster Smuggle Racer: Stays in the back of the race to collect the best items and bring them up to the front of the race. Silver Arrow Smuggle Racer: Same as the Roadster Smuggle, but is better equipped for 200cc.

me and my sister used to do something similar to smuggling on Mario kart d's a long time ago we would go on 50cc races and purposely go to the back of the pack so we could get a bullet bill or another good item and then race up to first place and use the bullet bill. We were really ahead of our time
