My opinions: Egg Cup: GCN Yoshi Circuit: The original music was amazing and it'll always be timeless. The stage was much improved in 8, and the music being orchestrated was sensational. Both themes are intoxicatingly wonderful in my book. Triforce Cup: Wii Wario's Gold Mine: Has the same result as Grumble Volcano; The new version of the song was more echo-eier than the original version and got a reverb added to it. Which is a nice effect, I'm not taking away from it. But I'll have to give this one to the Wii version, the original. SNES Rainbow Road: The original is pretty good, but the 8 version sounds much catchier. Those are my opinions on the retro tracks of DLC Pack 1. Don't like 'em, reply and let me know. Egg Cup: Excitebike Arena: Sounds arcade-like in the original, but Nintendo gave it a racing thrill. Therefore, it sounds better in the remix. Mute City: Sounds very mysterious and dramatic in the original version in F-Zero, but I like the remix better just a tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny bit. Triforce Cup: Hyrule Circuit: It sounds very game-ending (as in you beat the game), but the remix is much more fun and exciting. Credits to 8. Those are my opinions on the separate game themes of DLC Pack 1. Don't like 'em, reply and let me know.

Everyone is biased in some way. I like the original yoshi circuit theme as the remix is missing the strong base. Also Warios gold mine sounds less hard-hitting and it's missing the alternate music in the cave section

SMK Rainbow Road is, in my opinion, the best MarioKart track in the entire series. When I hear remixes of this track done so well, I honestly shed a tear everytime. It truly is a beautiful thing to me.

Here’s my thoughts on all these songs. Yoshi Circuit- Both are decent, but I’m gonna have to go with the original because jazz isn’t really my thing. Excitebike Arena- I thought there was only one version of the Excitebike theme, but apparently there’s not. While all those retro themes sound cool, I prefer the MK8 version. Mute City- While the MK8 version’s song is fantastic by itself, it feels rather ruined by the jazz. I would’ve liked it much better if it was a combo of techno and rock instead. So I prefer the original. Wario’s Gold Mine- The MK8 version definitely comes from the spirit of the original, and I like that. Both versions are decent, but if I had to pick one it’d be MK8’s version. Rainbow Road- The original was one of the best songs in Super Mario Kart, but MK8’s version is much better. Hyrule Circuit- MK8 by a milestone.

Gosh Mario Kart 8 saved my day! If it wasn't the DLC pack Baby Park and Yoshi Circuit's going to be the worst thing ever, because of the Mario Kart DS "Remake". I'm not sure to call it remake but it looks awful! The music the track it self! It's disgusting! Now the tracks are in HD. They look fantastic! I love the music so much! It give the nostalgia feels! Not like Mario Kart DS which gaved me disgust in GCN Luigi Circuit, Yoshi Circuit, Mushroom Bridge and expecially Baby Park! Yoshi Circuit and Baby Park are one of my fav tracks!

Dogman15 The 2 main themes in the Remix are the Excitebike Main Theme and the theme that plays when you win a race. Because I limit the "original" songs to just one song, I went with the main theme. (...however, this will cause problems as the Animal Crossing Remix in Pack 2 is a medley of several songs, none of which are really the "main song" in the remix.)
