Mario Kart 8 - Yoshi Offscreen Gameplay E3 2013

some changes I noticed: -the countdown at the start looks and sounds almost completely different -the coin counter is completely missing from the tv screen (it was probably on the gamepad) -the item roulette is a bit longer and sounds more accoustic -when Yoshi gets an item, he doesn't physically hold it in his hand -when Yoshi collects a coin, the sound it makes is more metallic -there are only two laps instead of three -the results screen looks fairly different, and the music is taken directly from Mario kart Wii (probably just a placeholder) -there are more goombas in Mario circuit, and one of the billboards is noticeably different -when Yoshi gets hit by the train in toad harbor, he only loses one coin instead of three -the music in twisted mansion is a bit slower (maybe that's just me) -shy guy falls is completely missing (probably because it wasn't finished yet) -bonus: Yoshi never gets a coin from an item box, even when he's in first place. this could be because coins as items weren't programmed into the game yet. edit: the coin counter was on the tv screen, it was just out of view. also the item that the player has isn't shown on the tv (probably because it was also out of view)

Jay_ Mania Double items where never in the originak Mario Kart 8. Mario Kart 8 released for Wii U originally, not the Switch. The Switch is an enhanced port with more features.

Oh heck yeah! The animation looks so polished it nearly feels like your controlling a full motion video. Mario Kart has never looked so gorgeous. I just hope the mechanics and play control feel really good. That's what makes or breaks mario kart for me.

This game is still in development so maybe they will add tracks as they continue finishing this game? i would think so since alot of the tracks from mario kart wii/mario kart 7 all had distinct tunes for each course so it would only make sense 8 will too, but we will find this out later i guess ^_^

Haven't got a Wii U yet but with Wind Waker HD and Mario Kart 8 on the way that's going to charge. This is the Mario Kart i have dreamt of, it looks brilliant. More games like this please Nintendo, you have a great console with amazing potential. Please Nintendo don't let it go to waste.

Hi: 1080p? Are you sure? In the "developer Direct" they said "HD 60fps". HD could be 720p. For Zelda HD they said "1080p". So, I would like to play this game in Full HD, f course but I'm not sure if the game has it, Red 5.

Yup. It was a surprise announcement by Sony at E3. They had said they were going to talk more about Kingdom Hearts 1.5 only but ended up dropping the Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer as well by surprise.

I think the anti-gravity course concept has a ton of potential. I think it could really see a change in the Mario Kart franchise finally. I'm totally excited for this game. Nintendo really did impress me this E3 with the new 3D World game, DKC Tropical Freeze, Super Smash Bros. 4 and this. I do think their 3DS lineup was a bit better than their Wii U one though.

well that depends on what you think is "good" haha, we all have different tastes in music, maybe the music in this game once it is released will fit your criteria, but this all remains to be seen until it's released so we should not be quick to judge.

PS4 is first option for me but I'm getting a WiiU down the road for this game, ssb, and multiplatform games that are for 360, ps3, and wii like cod, batman, tekken etc.. since the WiiU's version of the games is the best of the three now.
