Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 - Yoshi Cup HD

Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 (マリオカート アーケードグランプリ2) is the second game in the Mario Kart Arcade GP series and the ninth in the Mario Kart series overall. It is a follow-up to Mario Kart Arcade GP, and the game before Mario Kart Arcade GP DX. The game has custom karts for characters, similar to Mario Kart: Double Dash!! and Mario Kart DS. It contains virtually all the content of the original, but greatly expands it with the addition of several new courses, items and racers. Like the predecessor, Pac-Man characters appear as playable in this game. The game also introduces Mametchi as a playable character. In-game, it appears to be broadcast live and has color-commentary of the player by a narrator, whose language depends on the region of the game.

If courses like these would come back, then I would prefer that they are all 4 laps and change routes at the halfway point. Yoshi Park for example would start with the bakery part and later change to the Luigi’s Mansion portions.

I love the arcade series too, its so unique and fun to play, however, It would be a stretch to have them in mk9 as nintendo doesn’t realllly consider them as a mainline game as nintendo has launched a mainline game every 3 years; with arcade and tour breaking this; so i struggle to see any possibility in having it in a main game when Nintendo isn’t bothered about it, and we haven’t had a new arcade game in 7 years!

I wish I could find this somewhere. I didn't know that Nintendo had a Mario Kart arcade game until about a year ago and I can't find one anywhere in the Detroit area. I sometimes travel to Chicago, so I am hoping to find one out that way one day.

Some of the duplicate tracks seem to have different versions like the dk tracks have downpour on the second time they're pleayed. But is there any kind of a difference between the yoshi park tracks and their duplicates?

@@Demeech Well to be fair, MKAGP VR’s track is mostly a conglomeration of multiple MKAGP DX tracks, so if you’ve played that one, you’ve technically played the VR version.
