How could people hate this masterpiece? This was genius! There was a special for each person, and if you were in the back, you could get it! I liked the babies chain chomp mixed with the Kongs big banana. The GameCube was SO SO SO underrated, this was arguably the best console, with DKJB MKDD and many other classics.

Mario Kart Double Dash will always be my favorite Mario Kart. I love the other Mario Karts, but Double Dash just has something special about it. I love how Double Dash tried to change up the formula; the two characters in one kart and special items were great additions, as they add strategy & depth. The tracks in Double Dash are easily among the best in the series. Double Dash is SO underrated, I hope that the future Mario Karts bring back special items, two people in one kart & All Cup Tour.

I agree, I have absolutely NO idea why this game is hated on so much! It's actually my favorite of the Mario Kart series and I've got quite a number of fond memories attached to it. The heavier carts like the Bowsers and DKs are bit faster, but have a slower acceleration than the lighter and medium ones.

oh and also the fact that you could steal peoples items so if you get an item you REALLY NEED! then you get it them before you get a chance to use it. someone punches you and steals it and uses it and your in last place. personally this is a great game.
