To be honest I thought they'd have the peaches castle one actually exploring the castle itself like going up stairs to the second area driving through to the staircase to the final Bowser fight and driving through that level and then back to the castle but it's still cool

Christy Dunne What area is Mushroom Gorge based off of? Is it based off of the athletic levels from Mario 1? If so, that’s a cool callback. But yeah, there are quite a few levels based off of Mario stages and stuff, like Tik Tok Clock and that airship stage from DS

0:49 Is... is that music from Mega Man Legends? I can't quite place it, but I'm pretty sure it's one of the Bonne's themes. EDIT: IT IS! It's the theme of the entire group!

It kind of looks cool, but... a few criticisms: - The Slides are just point A to point B. You could just add a ramp past the finish line and make it three laps. - The Chain Chomp on bob-omb battlefield goes too far on to the track. That's going to really screw with momentum for the rest of the race. - Rendering performance could use some tweaking. - The tracks need to be a little wider, in my opinion. Making them too narrow gets nerve racking. - Needs more Goombas and Koopas in the background. Detail needs minor improvements. Other than that... looks awesome!

I’m surprised that there aren’t any super Mario 64 tracks in Mario kart d.s when there was already super Mario 64 ds on the same console
