I remember the goddamn story mode mission of this track.. That thing was pure *hell.* You had to collect a number of coins as toad, while also dodging the moving clock AND while being timed. The amount of times i was electrocuted as a child while barely doing it on time after countless attempts is insane. That level as a child was the hardest thing i have experienced on any mario kart game ever. Toad, I'm sorry for torturing you.

The DS has no circle pad to make it easy, so he's gotta use the D-pad. This is why games like this and SM64 DS love the 3DS (it has a circle pad).

I feel like this is quite nostalgic in a way because I remember me or my brother playing this race taking turns each time playing our copy of Mario kart ds when I was five years old around then in 2011 and he was nine and I remember either me or him playing the game usually when we went to the shopping centre in our town on the way while either my mum or dad were driving the car and we’d sometimes even play it still while we were sitting in the car park and this race has kind of a liminal space feeling and vibe to it it’s more mysterious and kind of strange too I think and it feels liminal space because it seems like because you have three laps your going back through the same way each time and because there are quite a few obstacles too that you are kind of trapped there but you’re not.

Facts About Me When I Played Mario Kart DS: When I Was Little (section 1) My nickname was ! My emblem was all blue with one gray pixel. I played as Daisy in her Power Flower. Daisy was hilarious when she said Oh No! I thought Mario said "That's a me!". I never knew how to play, so I would screw around on the courses, get hit, fall off. I would do this in Time Trial mode as well, which I played more than Grand Prix. I was called Doraemon for a short time. Tick Tock Clock was my favorite course. What I Still Think & Do (section 2) My nickname is now Japanese, which translates to "Nyarome" Tick Tock Clock is still my favorite course. I play as Dry Bones now in his Banisher kart. I can dodge blue shells now. I still don't have all 150cc courses. I still don't have all unlockables. I play Block Fort Twilight House and Pipe Plaza on battle mode.
